PediSedate Nitrous GameBoy Contraption Can’t Be Real

I really have a hard time believing this thing got greenlit in some meeting room. Obviously the room was flooded with N2O for an idea like this to even take shape. We’ve all seen that “kind of funny the first time” David video on YouTube where he’s all tripped out after the dentist. Should we expect to see more of these? I hope not. Designed to ease children into shroomland before a dental or medical procedure, this looks worse than taking candy from a stranger. What game are they playing anyway? Something that involves chasing a dragon I hope.

Spacepilot 3D Pro Mouse Isn’t For The Light Handed

That’s not a mouse, this is mouse! Think Crocodile Dundee for a sec, and you’ll know what I’m getting at. The 3D Connexion (owned by Logitech) SpacePilot Pro is, as the company calls it, the ultimate professional 3D mouse. At $499 it’s cost prohibitive for most people, which is a good thing since it’s intended for use with 3D software environments. At the center of the input device is the 3Dconnexion Cap, which can be yanked in a variety of ways and can detect movements as slight as 4 micrometers (1/25 of a human hair).

Keeping your daily life in order is the LCD Workflow assistant that provides visual access to your calendar, mail, feeds and more. It’s available now.

Virtual Laser Wall will protect pedestrians on crossroads

We all know from childhood that red traffic light means stop. If you usually drive safe, you obey the traffic light signals every time. Unfortunately, not everyone obeys them, which constantly leads to accidents. Why does this happen? Maybe they just do not notice the red light. In any case, this behavior is very dangerous on the road. The police tries to frighten drivers with huge penalties, installs cameras that detect violators... However, this problem may need another way to be resolved. What about... virtual wall that is synchronized with traffic lights?

This interesting concept shows us how the problem of dishonorable drivers can be dealt with. The main parts of this system are two laser-equipped stands that stand just in front of each other at the different sides of the road. When the traffic lights turn red, lasers will display the wall that virtually stays in the way of drivers. This wall will show moving image of pedestrians walking across the road and will be clearly seen even in daylight. The real pedestrians will be viewable too, because of the transparency of this "wall". These lasers are simple ones, so they will not flat your tires or stall the engine if crossed, but apparently, this system can inform police about your fault and send some information about the car and its owner.

Very interesting concept, however, there is no information about cost of these things. Supposedly, they will consume very large amounts of energy and will be expensive too. It is still a possibility to show advertising on this "walls" to compensate costs, so nothing is impossible. Maybe such "walls" will guard pedestrians and reduce the amount of accidents caused by disobeying the traffic lights. Unfortunately, this is just a concept, with no real working prototype yet.
